WHAT IS A KHUKURI?
A Khukuri is a semi curved metal knife that is the national weapon of Nepal. It has been used for hundreds of years in everyday life and in religious sacrificial ceremonies. It has gained worldwide fame by it's use by the legendary British Gurkha soldiers. They used these knifes during many wars where they were known for their courage and valor.

One of the pictures on the right are British Gurkha soldiers doing Khukuri training. The bottom 2 show Kami craftsman handmaking khukuri knifes.

*Note*
Since every knife is handcrafted each one might have slight variations.
Also most knifes are shipped with the protective oil on the blade just as they are shipped from Nepal.
